2.0 Or 1.6? plz help

Im 19 and in march i will have 3 years ncd and in march i will trade my y reg fiesta zetec s for a 206cc.

No the Q is, do i get a 1.6 or 2.0.
The insurance quote for the 2.0 is only Â£200 more???

Also is it better off getting a second hand one or new???

id say 2.0. more power and more extras

On the 2.0, you get the sports pack and 16inch alloys as standard, whereas on older 1.6 models they were optional extras (and 15inch alloys). I'm not sure of the spec of the new 1.6 now...???

If you go 2nd hand, you save money but have to trust the previous owner to have taken care of it - which I think any CC owner would do

I'm not sure if the 3yr warranty is transferable - but I'm sure someone here can tell you

go for the 2.0 litre you know it makes sense

plus as pauline says all the extras you get more than make up for the price difference

and confirms warruntee is automatically transferable, but i would get vender to confirm (in writing)that warruntee is valid and that they know of no reason why it might be invalidated. If buying from adealer get them to confirm the date until they would honour the warruntee.

Second hand prices from dealers are quite high. Consider an import. You can get a new car (sometimes secondhand but with only delivery milage) for similar price to some used cars.

There are pros and cons to buying an imports. Pros being price and you get to choose colour and options. Cons being 2yr warruntee, waiting times and poor or no trade in.

As long as incurance aint a problem go for the 2 litre, i got a 1.6 and it needs more power......

but then everything cud do with more power to me....even that 1000bhp MG with nitrous

Im gonna wait till march 25 to get me 206cc because i will have 3 years ncd then. if any of you guys in essex way see any 206cc's silver with leahter 2.0 for sale at a garage let me know

u ever fancy popping over and checking over a 1.6cc then u more then welcome

theres also a planned meet in witham,sometime early next yr if u fancy it.
