27th December and I've used up all of my (incredibly stingy, even by UK standards) holiday allowance.
To make matters worse I've actually got work to do, so I couldn't even sneak my laptop in for a few snide games of Unreal Tournament.
Oh well, Happy "bit between Christmas and New Year" to everyone.
-Justin (busy, yet somehow still bored - how does that work then?)

Yep, me too!!
Had to drive into work from Swindon, got up at 5:30 this morn. Now stuck at work with almost nothing to do.
Still got holidays left but apparently we need to have people in in case of emergencies or something!!

Well I took the time off, but I'm not convinced it was all that good an idea, because now is one of the quietest times of year for us. Seems to make more sense to take time off when it's busy
That is of course unless you have a family etc that you want to holiday with at this time.

Glad it's not just me then
Still, only a few hours of desperate boredom and then we can get back to the turkey sandwiches.

Matt,
I suppose at least it's summer where you are, a few extra days off with you cc when the sun's out has to be a good idea.
Think of us poor cold poms next time you put the roof down.

Still, could be worse. I could be at home watching "highlights" of yesterday's cricket.

Holly Valance!
Sounds almost like something Robin would say to Batman.
