Hi all. Just wanted to introduce myself as a new 206cc owner.
the names Chris, I'm 25 and live in South London. I've had my 206cc for about 4 weeks now (after waiting 6 weeks for it to be built) and I'm very happy with it.

I'm looking to fit a new stereo system with amp and speakers but without spending too much cash (I'm not exactly loaded :( ). Its black and has the super sexy sports pack (a friend was trying to get mr to buy a new gear knob but I haven't seen any as lovely as the standard one).

Anyway, hello and I hope to be able to chip in to many of the future discussions and topics.

Toot, a big welcome to you in the early hours of the morning! Glad to see you aboard.

I have to be careful what I say here, but I agree the sports pack inc the metal gear knob does look sexy.

Robbie. :D

Yes, I was up a little late. It got to 11pm and I thought it was bedtime then I came on the forum and next thing I knew it was 12.30am.

Paul and Trung, what is ICE? I gather its something to do with the soundsystem. Basically I'm looking for a new headset as well as amp and decent speakers. I need something big for driving around with the roof down. The thing is, I have no idea about car stereos. I'm a former DJ but those types of systems are different to cars. I listen to most types of music but mainly rap, pop, prodigy and hard dance and I would like to keep the current remote control stalk. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the welcomes by the way, nice to see a friendly forum for a change :o :o :o :D

Depends what unit you're going for (assuming it's a multiplex car). At the current time, I think there are only adapters for Sony. Kenwood adapters are due out next month.

Welcome toot.

I have a new clarion head unit for my CC. There's an adapter so the control stick will work, but you loose the display. As far as I'm aware there is no display adapter yet.

Hope this helps
