Thanks both of you, I'm all for maximum results for minimum effort. I'll experiment and see which I prefer.

Rachel I got my car superguarded at motorpoint. Superguard also have a website so I'm sure they can put you in touch with a local dealer. The local peugeot dealer also uses superguard as far as I am aware.

I finally heard back from the guy at Supagard. Unfortunately, by then he'd lost my business to Diamond Brite. The Peugeot dealers around here don't provide Supagard, so I think I'd prefer to let a dealership I know do the treatment then take it to the local Citroen / Vauxhall / Ford garage.

I thought it would be after reading one of your earlier messages but checked with Supagard and none of the local Peugeot dealers provide it.

Nearly time for my car to gets its treatment. I'm getting sleepless nights about entrusting my (currently) perfect car's paintwork to someone! Can anyone reassure me how they will make sure they don't glue up the seals during the application of the coating - I'm worried I'll never open my roof again!

I've got mine back and am well pleased with it. The paintwork looks better than new. Just need to wait and see how easy maintenance is now!

Rachel, glad to hear your initial reaction to Diamond Brite was a positive one. You can sit back and look forward to easy maintenance from now on!

That's the plan Robbie! How long ago did you have yours done? How's the after care?
