I would like to point out that Robbie doesn't have his SLK anymore. Someone called Derek is rumoured to have stolen it while Robbie went away for the weekend.

7 LTF was one of the earliest recorded number plates released onto the road some 50 years ago and not to be confused with one of these new prefix personalised numbers that you can buy now from the DVLA which start with a prefix such as A99 FOG etc
My father spotted it on a car some 50 years ago and bought it just for the numberplate which he transferred onto his roller. 7 was considered a lucky number and LTF were his initials, Leonard Thomas Farrant. My father gave me the number before he died last year while I was looking after him in the last stages of cancer. The value is somewhere in the region of 5-6K but its immaterial because its value to me is sentimental. I hope its as lucky for me as it was for him
Robbie.
