Which way does the mobile speed cameras catch you (white vans). Do they get you going towards or away from them?

White van towards them from the rear.

Gatso gets you after you pass it

Truvelo gets you as you head towards it (also has infra red flash so you dont know youve been caught until the brown envelope slips throughj the letter box)

There used to be only 10 active camera units in Derbyshire in Gatso cameras, that was until a man stole a JCB and drove over one repeatedly. He was caught on film but had a balaclava on so got away :)

I also double check to see if the camera is pointing in the direction of the road speedmarkers as often they're turned around and I can breath a sigh of relief!

Went past that infamous an supposedly now deactivated camera in Brighton hidden behinnd a tree (that caused all the fuss in the news an all the papers recently) was so smug with myself for spotting it I let me guard down an got flashed a couple of hundred yards down the road by another camera :( waiting to see if any brown envelope drops throught the door.

Robbie.

For any one travelling around the M25, anti clockwise. When you come to the roadworks at junctions 23-21 watch out!! there is a camera hidden behind the bridge pillars. There are loads of signs but people still go fast as there are rarley any cameras. I saw 3 cars get flashed by it on Friday, it covers all three lanes!!!

Watch out!!
