Hi all,
I have a weird hollow knocking sound coming from the rear passenger's side that only occurs when I go over medium size bumps. It almost sounds as if it is inside the boot but I have taken evertything out. Also I can't seem to replicate the bump by boucing the suspension whilst stationairy.
I am on the verge of going to the dealers but I want to see if I can detmine what it is before hand, so I have a bit of ammunition and they don't try to fob me off saying it was something it wasn't.
Please help it'd driving me crazy :x :x :x
Marco
Knocking advice please!

Could be a damper that's gone/going - makes sense. If you go over a little bump, it's not enough to compress it enough. If you go over a large bump, there's too much pressure to allow it to bottom out. If you go over a medium bump, there's enough compression but it's slow enough that the gas can escape.
