Oh dear Derek, let us know if its gonna pull through the operation.
i'm happy to report that after a four hour operation, the CC came round and felt quite good. after a drink of new oil it was even well enough to drive home.

it is now recovering from it's recent trauma in the driveway but will be given plenty of rest as i can keep the astra i got a loan of for a few months.

as an extra little treat, i will give it a wash when i'm off at the weekend :D

i must point out that the operation was carried out without the use of monkeys. a competent mechanic was used and cost far less than the £200+ for labour that a peugeot zoo would have charged.

also worth pointing out that i got a small discount on the parts - courtesy of a ficticious company
