Looking at that .. makes me wonder how the car would behave in an accident ... the roof seems to have prity much popped off. Is that by design ??? How safe are our beloved CC's really....

The strength is not in the roof (otherwise you'd be in trouble with the roof down) but in a big pair of bars, kind of like a half rollcage, that go up the windscreen supports. I have a cutaway diagram in a brochure somewhere.
