Thanks

I know it doesn't answer your question, but the best place to go to get plates made, without post codes, dealer names etc on them is your local market (in my case, Blackbushe, Surrey) mine with a black border to match the car, were £15.

Shops like Halfords etc insist on adding their postcodes to stay legal

Halfords ones are crap because the letters are stuck on to the reflective bit. Fancyplates and GTGrafix print them.

Impressive site, its also nice to see that they haven't strayed from the construction and use vehicle regulations, unlike other makers, whose plates put motorists at risk of traffic fines.

Fancyplates quality is top-notch too!
I had the plates made up for the CC a couple of months ago (got the Pug lion on one side and everything), and I haven't even collected the car yet!
Plates came with every sort of fixing known to mankind -- I think I may 'sticky fixer' them to the car rather than having bolts protruding.

Delivery is usually within a couple of days (pretty good, considering they come from Northern Ireland).
No association, etc. just a satisfied customer.
