I'm GLAD that I didn't have the bad luck of watching Driven like some of you had, and I'm GLAD that I'll disappoint them. I'm NOT gay and NEVER thought to be. My only comment for these nonsense is that some people are trying to low profile the already success of the specific car using foolish methods. Haven't worked and WON'T work either.
Without seeming libelous, I'm beginning to suspect that the "playing field is not quite level" when "Driven" review certain cars and most of all, especially Pug cc's.
From what I remember, the first review made silly comments about the fact that the high seats (?) combined with the rake of the windscreen meant that people's heads would be sticking over the top and therefore risk injury (death etc)in the event of an accident!
Well I'm 6'3" and my head certainly does not stick over the top, infact the reason I chose the cc was because it was the best fit for me (apart from great styling etc).
Does anyone also remember that the first review of "Driven" also obtained a "lime green!" Pug (apologies to lime green owners) with no leather whilst the other two comparisons both had leather and more conservative colours! They then made a group of people choose which they liked the best. Hardly a fair unbiast comparison.
Suggestion. Perhaps we can set up our own version of "car review" and compare "Driven" to the likes of Top Gear etc. At least our comments would be more constructive. We could also then send this to "Driven " for them to view!!
(PS. I haven't mentioned the words Gay/wife or girlfriend once! -- ooops)
Robbie.

Just thought it was a cheap trick in driven's first review to kit the opposition out in full leather and suggest the Peugeot was a death trap before making people choose which one they liked best.
I must say though col, I quite liked the look of the Astra convertible, looked spacious inside to me and the remote self-locking roof was definitely a bonus - no levers to pull down. The one big drawback for me has to be the soft roof. From my recollection, the Astra was the one that pulled the most votes (although I'm not swapping my cc babe).
No i wouldn't swap either, may be tempted by a TT or Z3 or New MGFT but don't think i could like with a softop and not have the extra bit of room that the CC gives in the back for my bags and stuff

Julie, you know what us men are like, always on the defensive when it comes to our little babies!
Still I know what you mean, what better way to become infamous than to create a bit of controversy and annoyance - eh? (bit like that ferrero roshe advert).

I think we're giving in to as many stereotypes as the woman on Driven:
Yes I drive a CC, yes I'm gay, no I don't listen to Judy Garland, no I can't cut hair, no I don't drink Cafe latte, no I haven't got Bob and Rose on video.
Not looking forward to listen to every man on the list now mention their wife/girlfriend. Are you guys really that insecure that that kind of nonsense bothers you?
Mike
P.S. Col, My CC is black too.
I'm not gay but with you on this one, some of the comments I’ve just read seem to be as offensive as the comments you are discussing.
Next I'll be stereotyping all 206cc owners as being a bit homophobic. Hang on, no I wont, we are all different! (Apart from our choice in car)
