I don't know about all you cc owners out there, but one of my main gripes about the cc is the grotty driving position (apart from the usual squeaks 'n' leaks that is), the steering wheel is either too far away, or I've got my knees around my ears. However, this could be cured if the steering wheel was just an inch or two closer, meaning I could put the seat right back and still reach the wheel properly. Does anyone know of any after market steering wheels that can do this, or is it possible get a spacer or something fitted to achieve the same result?
Even if this isn't possible, there's no way I'm giving up my cc, I guess I'll just have to get used to it, or go in for some major surgery on my limbs!

thats what i like to see. real dedication there ppl.
soz not heard of anything like that b4 but perhaps it'll be to dangerous anyway to extend the steering column at all, don't want the steering wheel coming off in your hands do you
It is possible to change the steering wheel but this means you remove the airbag. When you change it you can get a deeper steering wheel (similar to what you'll find on a rally car) and also get spacers to bring the steering wheel forward as well. It's up to you.
any decent car accessory store/company should do steering wheels (even Halfords!!!) Try searching on the net for steering wheels and see where they are stocked. Sorry can't be any more useful
