Damn Peugeots!
Driving along a twisty road casually doing 60mph roughly with cars in front and behind me. All of a sudden I notice my radio turn off and all the dials went to O. My speed decreased and pressing on the accelerator did nothing. Eventually I stalled. Obviously this was extremely dangerous as the cars behind me must have thought what the heck was I doing!
Came to a complete stop and placed hazard lights on and then re-started ignition and it was fine!
Anyone else had this at major speed? I have had it doing lower speed but this was scary! [/quote]
Send it for check up Last week I went for check up as well and I got software upgrade of BSI. Also notice that If you have aftermarket HU you MUST have installed the adaptor that peugeot provides, and BSI's function for HU MUST be disabled Sometimes this causes unexpected faults to BSI with unknown results

Blimey Julia, glad your ok not had that happen at all, just the non starting saga about this time last year (have i now tempted fate )
have you checked the battery terminals for any signs of corrisons (spelling, i'm sleep typing ?)
Mine isn't a multiplex model so it prob won't be as easy for Pug to diagnose as they can't just plug my CC in and see whats wrong.
Might pop in and ask them but reluctant to let them play with it for days.
Will keep you posted.
Maybe its its way of telling me it doesnt like wet weather!
I've noticed a couple of times while driving that the STOP light on the clocks flashes red.
I've also had it cut-out - I was braking and steering at the same time and it just died on the roundabout near Tescos (yes the one with the brick wall that keeps getting knocked down!).
mine isn't and i've had a aftermarket headunit fitted for months without problems, touch wood
Yes Lyndon, mine is multiplexed (spec 2). And when I was writing about installing the adaptor and disabling BSI's function for the factory HU, I was reffering ONLY to the new multiplexed cars Unfortunately, I don't have enough information about the earlier versions (spec 1).
TZAG

Julia, this is a critical problem. So you shouldn't just say you "might pop in" you MUST send it for thorough check immediately
I also have a suspicion that it's not just "it doesn't like the wet whether" but what if its BSI is not so dry enough anymore....
Don't play with it. Your life is more precious than your time

Thanks for all your concern especially TZAG for ensuring I get it checked out! I feel honoured!!!
I will call them on Monday and book it in. Do you think I should demand a CC as a courtesy car???
Will keep you posted!
Thanks again
