I have not posted much lately as initially I thought I was being 'got at' for hogging threads, which has now been cleared up (sorry Justin) but I still feel its not as easy to post since this time old aurgument about non-CC realted threads keeps cropping up. I joined in September and was posting 3-4 times per day, mainly to this discussion bit as it was a fun place to visit, now with all the aurguments about people leaving etc I lost interest.
If it is Ok with most of you to use this discussion bit for both CC and non CC stuff then I will no longer be AWOL.
what fun is a CC with no sun ... oh and mine is in for its leak to be fixed .. 3 days and they give me a red 206 1.1 possibly the most basic model ever ... I mean ... .. the lights are confusing me .. who the hell turns lights on .... Ive already managed to drive quite far on side lights ... until I realized when I left the street lighted areas that I could see nothing.

eeeerm .... I did not realise it would be so .... ummm "rubbish".
It really is ... terrible
i wouldnt say its that bad as my last car was a W 206 1.4LX which isn't much better but a 206 1.1 isn't an acceptable courtesy car when you own a CC.
if it was a courtesy car for the day if yours was being serviced then ok, but if it's in for warranty work then it's not.
last december i got a 106 quicksilver but took it as it wasn't expected to be needed as it was all last minute. when it went in again a few weeks later i demanded a car in line with the value of my own car - i got the after sales manager's Rover 75 2.5V6 for 9 days

Too right Derek, this little arguement goes back to when we took that merc coupe in for the third time to get the same thing fixed under warranty, they offered an A Class and said its cause they can run two cars for the price of one. I insisted as its a warranty problem we got an equivelant and after some wrangling duely got an e-class. Its the principal of the matter, if its a courtesy car whilst servicing thats different because your able to control when your car goes into the dealer and plan accordingly, especially if its not a suitable vehicle for work etc.
