won't be of much interest to CC owners - after 3 106's i wouldn't look at one again.

The fact that you had three 106's sais enough about your opinion about this car..... ;)

Sorry - tried the link but it seemed really slow so I've given up. Is it just 106 GTi related stuff???

rick,

i did like them :) but last december when my 1st CC went to the dealer for a 4 day holiday i was given a 106 quicksilver and i was far from impressed with it which put me off them altogether. spoiled many happy memories i had :D

Hmmmm, but this forum is specifically for addicts of the lovely 206CC so we can get our fix (in more ways than one)!

I read the post but didn't go to the link or reply as 106GTis just don't rock my boat... and I guess the others who've posted here feel the same... :?:

I have a problem with 106s I am too big. I am not particularily a Peugeot fan. I like the 206cc besause it is a convertible with a folding metal roof. More likely to buy another car with a folding roof (not megane) than another Peugeot. I suspect others on the forum would be the same.

pugsella,

people are entitled to their opinion and there's no point saying you like something if you don't.

if your post was in reference to myself which i think it was i take that is because of ............

1. I said your offer of 12% discount on parts was no better than what most individuals could haggle for themselves and after adding on postage then there could be no saving and rob's (who sells to help CC owners - not at a profit) prices were probably similar if not better - don't see a problem here, what I said was true.

2. Your post advertising your employer in the good dealers post shouldn't have been made as that isn't what the topic is for - others agreed and the topic is exactly for what it says - dealers you recommend from personal experience, not because you work for them.

3. I didn't think CC owners would be interested in a 106GTi website - that's my general opinion. nothing against the site as it's probably very good although i haven't looked at it. but if people were so interested in a 106GTi then the would probably have bought one in the first place.

Apologies if my personal opinions offend you but that's life in a free world.

I think it means there's a Peugeot dealer out there openly claiming that Peugeots are cr@p...

to look at it another way, this guy arrived claiming to be someone special to help us and at the end of the day slagged off peugeot owners.

at the end of the day he is the one "trying" to sell the cars. obviously still a bit wet behind the ears but he should improve after he finishes his training.

"Only driving Peugeot?" Oh dear, thats an unfortunate phrase of terminalogy for a salesman of the product, lets hope he doesn't say it to a). his customers ;) or indeed to b). his boss ;) ;) otherwise all he might be peddling are incontenant pants to old ladies.

Perhaps some further salesman training is needed
