I was gonna post a reply in a similar vein earlier, until I realised that the only opportunity he has to do this is when the car is first started. Then you drive away and the car locks, and remains locked till the end of your trip.

If your journey is round the M25, you'll be lucky if you ever get up to locking speed
Latest update on mine is that the doors are now fine but they the moisture sensor is going to take another week to come. Apparently it's only a 10 minute 'while you wait' job to fit it so They'll call me in when it arrives.
So far on the journey home, the doors are no longer misbehaving so it looks like a 50% win at least. Shame about the auto-lock though, I'd got quite used to it :rolleyes:
