I BOUGHT A 51 REG SE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND IT HAS'NT GOT A TRIP COMPUTER, AUTO LIGHTS OR RAIN SENSING WIPERS.

IS THIS RIGHT, WAS THERE A SPEC UPGRADE ON LATER MODELS !

I'm sure one of the members here who has had their CC for a while will be able to answer your question soon. Not sure myself.

Thought I'd just let you know it's generally considered SHOUTING! if you leave your caps lock on when you're posting on forums etc. Best if you save capitals for when you're ANGRY

or VERY HAPPY

or something, as some people get annoyed by it.

going by memory, the 2002 spec models (trip computer etc..) were produced from some date in oct 2001 onwards. maybe you just missed out.

AND THERE'S MORE! There are still UNREGISTERED pre-multiplex (ie the first model) kicking around - I saw one in Tradesales in Slough only last week - Â£500 cheaper than the others so now we know why

The easiest way to tell is to look at the big red button in the middle of the dash - if it's split in 2, it's the post-Nov 01 model, if it's just one, it's pre-Nov 01 so comes without trip, autolights etc etc

(oki, i am a bit confuse about SE, S etc etc, coz in Australia we just have 1.6 Auto or 2.0 Manual)
The 1.6 auto has no rain sensor and auto light

in the UK we get the 'S' which is a 1.6 litre, comes in auto or manual gearbox, then theres the 'SE' which is the 2.0 litre manual gearbox ONLY.

In the UK, S=1.6 and SE=2.0

SE comes with all the toys while on the S, the sports pack (ie aluminium pedals etc), auto lights/wipers, and alloys are optional extras

Yes Dazza, Derek is right, the trip computer auto lights/wipers appeared in the 2002 models built from Oct 2001 onwards, looks like you've just missed out with your 51 plate by only a few months.

Don't worry about the caps lock as your new so no-ones gonna be offended.

Ahhhh, so that's all the S and SE is.

Having just bought, the deal here is that there is 1.6 manual, 1.6 auto, and 2.0 manual.

From the Peugeot Australia August 2002 specifications brochure:
Trip computer (and presumably full multiplex) is on all CCs.
Auto lights and auto wipers are only on the 2.0 manual.
