Just wondering how accurate the fuel left in the tank indicator is. Yesterday I was driving for about 20 miles with the fuel light on looking for a petrol station (out in the middle of nowhere) and the indicator stayed around 55-60 miles left.

Has anyone run it any lower?

Last week I ran mine down to 13 miles remaining and it was fine.

I must point out it was not just for a laugh or to test it out but I was miles from home and couldn't find a petrol station!

I challenge anyone to go further!

I usually get it to 30km b4 i fill up (we use km here). But as the km remaining is calculate from your consumption and the estimate amount of fuel remain, since the current consumption rate change all the time, so is the km remain. And the display show --- means less then 3 litres in the tank.

AlexLS - yeah mine too , but i get needle all the way up by filled it up 3 clicks. IE when filling "click" it stop... press fill again "click" it stop... press again "click" it stop... dont do it more then 3 clicks or you get petrol all over you trousers. :D

I did 2 clicks... I couldn't get the third one - or rather I could, but it clicked straight away even after waiting a while.

My display only goes down to about 20 miles left, it then turns into - - - :?
mines too - tried it a few times :P don't know how you got it to 13 unless it's faulty.
