Has any one had any problems with the oil level guage indicator? When i start the engine it flashes to warn me that there is no oil. I have already had my dials refitted and the computer rebuilt to solve this problem but it still continues to cause me probs. My car is only 4mths old can I refuse it? :x

mine does the same... sometimes it works sometimes it flashes..... just do not rely on it! Apparently it is a common fault and they have not found a solution to it.. according to my dealer.... I just ignore it....

Thanks for that, Im just so fed up spending more time in the dealership complaining than actually driving my CC.

So far I have had :

2 new fan belts fitted
dashboard dials refitted X 2
Car cut off twice when driving dials fail.
Leaks , leaks and more leaks
Reasealed twice.
Computer system rebuilt
Busted radio...... Still waiting to be fixed
All in 4mths!!!!
:x

I bought It from Mckinnons in Wallington Surrey. I Complained to Peugeot head office and they have sent me a really sarky letter offering me £200 in compensation. But if I take it I then have no more issues with the car!! As if Im going to take it!

Had the fan belt refitted twice as it makes a very loud noise when I am driving.

My oil indicator said it was low - i only had the car a month. We checked the oil level and it was fine. Next time we started the car it was ok again - weird huh?

Just slap the top of the dashboard and low and behold the needle will rise. This saves a fortune on oil!!!!! What a good feature to be installed - must have taken the designers ages to implement this.

You sure it's not just dependent on how level the car is when you've parked? I've noticed mine vary if it's on a slope (can't remember which way).
