I am beginning to find that my driver's door rattles slightly when driving. It was noticeable yesterday as a drove down some particularly bumpy country roads. Now I seem to notice it all the time. I don't think there is a security issue. The door seems secure enough when driving. I thought it might be an item in the side compartment or the seatbelt rattling, but I've discounted these.
I obviously only hear it when the roof is on - which with this current weather is most of the time now.
Anyone had similar problems or is it just me?
Any suggestions?

Well over the past two days I drove about 150 miles and played with the windows. You are right. It is a window problem. I bring them down a tad and the rattling reduces but does not cease.
My partner says it gives the car character. Typical man. He thinks that an overhang over the belt gives a man character, so i'll be ignoring his views re: this matter. I think I'll see what the garage have to say.

Hi there,
I had the same problem with my CC (Aug02 plate). Took it into them. They replaced the seal for me - apparantly it's a known problem. Took about a day to do but the problem went (the nice people at pug gave me another CC for the day.. Shame it had their logo all down the side
)
It's under warranty, so take it in and see what they say - They said at first that it was supposed to do that (Don't know about you, but if I pay £15k for a car, I don't want it to rattle!). I saw the manager and he booked it in there and then
Hope this helps.

Everybody experiences this problem.
The only cure is to frequently apply a lubricant to the seals.
We insisted the dealer supply a can FOC as it is a design problem and was not acceptable.
Well, they gave us a can and 3 weeks later we gave them the CC back!
Still got the can. Anyone want it? OK, you all need it, anyone want to come and get it?
