Hi
I've had mine lowered 40mm & had new torsion and anti-roll bars fitted.
Cost 299
And as for wheel space - I've got 17 inch rims and low profile tyres fitted and they fit fine.

Hi
I sold my nimrods I'm afriad...
I got the Volcanoes from south coast wheels (Southampton)
Theyve got a website
http://www.southcoastwheels.co.uk/
When I bought the wheels I was told that they were being discontinued so you may have problems getting them.
Also youll need spacers - I've got 9.5 MM on the back and 5mm on the front. Else theyll rub.
Fab wheels though.. I'm well impressed.

Why gild the lily? Does anyone else share my view that the CC is a beautiful car that looks classier left alone and not messed about with?
(Was just looking at the mod site pointed to in the latest discussion
: thread http://www.neouk.net/ Some of those mods are just horrible  )
Not getting at proud owners who've done some tasteful improvements - alloys, mesh grill, Lexus lights seem nice. But I hope we don't end up like owners of modded Vauxhall Nova Sri's - a laughing stock
So - I'm keeping mine original (apart from the alloy tax disk holder - but that's not really a mod). As a classic example it'll be worth a fortune in 20 years time. Possibly.

Sue & Steve,
I agree that some mods are outrageous and make the car look stupid but there are many smaller mods that can be done.
Lowering the car by 40mm makes the handling better and doesnt make the car look like its a hairs width from the road surface.
Then theres chrome hoops and the grill and lights etc etc...
The enhance the look of the car rather than making it look like a boy racers mobile
take a look here www.m275.com/car

Yep - I have to admit M that your car looks very very pretty ........ hmmm probably better than the standard 2.0 SE in Aegean (eg mine!). Oh alright - if the 2 were side-by-side in the showroom I'd go for yours.
I'm definitely going for the windstop, and I'd have the mesh grille if I had the spare cash (but that's a Pug option isn't it, anyway?)
Realised I should really have started a new topic, as I wasn't referring to lowering suspension so much as fake air scoops and big wing spoilers.
What's the downside on lowering? Less suspension travel, harsher ride? My last car was a Xantia, by the way, so this one seems pretty harsh to me already. I used to like raising and dropping the Xantia the full, what, 200mm or so when stuck in traffic to confuse other drivers.

With the original setup my car looks like it's to high on the front, is that normal? Well, anyway when I would lower the car should I lower it entirely? Or can I just change the front suspensions? And if I would do that would that have an impact on the cars behaviour?
BTW Do you guys also have the problem when driving on bumpy terrain that it seems that your front is gonna fall apart? I think it are the suspensions that are maxed out while the springs jump up and down, not sure though.. anyone comments?
