Just booked to have the windows tinted a light smoke grey as I think that will set the car off just fine...... 8)
Though, "she who must be obeyed" does not agree.....
Anyone had theirs done?

I've had my window tinted now for a few months and love it. I don't really notice anymore but whenever I see another cc (not very often) I can instantly see a huge difference and feel satisfied that I did a good thing. I had mine professionally tinted by Pentagon Autotint (I recommend them since this is my third car done by them) and it cost me about £220. It's a little expensive (I know you can get it done cheaper) but the quality and service is first class (especially the quality of tint). I believe there are several nationwide (there are two in Scotland!! so there must be some elsewhere!). For those who don't know what it's about, they don't actually tint the glass it's the tinted plastic sheeting stuck onto the glass but it's done so well it looks just like tinted glass. I had the light smoke on the sides (it's now illegal to get anything darker on the front side windows) and the dark smoke on the rear screen. Again I personally think it's great. Hope that helps.

£220?? from pentagon?? They quoted me £295+VAT!!!
So I decided to go with R-tec who quoted me 264 all in......
Say mvoong you wouldn't put in a good word for me @ Pentagon, as they were who I had in mind, but that 295+ is a killer! I've still got a week left before I go to R-tec...........

I went in with 2 cars (my cc and my sister's mini) and told them I got a quote elsewhere for £225 each (a wee bit of a porky) and they said they would do both cars for that price. Just mention to them that you got a quote elsewhere (which is true) and if they don't match it then you'll go to them. You don't lose anything after all they're not going to get your business anyway. Just do it and see what they say. Good luck

Got the tint today 8) ...went for smoke as the light smoke would have been a joke.
The car looks wow!! :D.......Gotta wait for 48hrs without using the windows as the plastic film has to dry.
While there I also had 17 hi join(they're the original makers for Ace alloys)2 piece alloys fitted. I've already forgotten about my disappointment with Momo Tuners being delayed
I enthusiatically recommend R-tec...the dudes were more than very helpful! Class Act they are.
Now whether to lower or not, HMMMmm?
