See what you mean about the pop ups spent a few mins clearing them and there it was, the silver flash that went past us almost too quick to admire!
It really is cool. D'ya have anything else to spend you're cash on??
We are from Letchworth in Hertfordshire but was from Southport hence the M6 trudge last week.
Love our car but looks a bit ordinary at the moment not even got Alloy's
Yet!!
Where u from and d'ya have any hints on nice but not to steep alloys??
Jonny

Hi,
Nope - don't have anything else to spend my cash on. Im single so don;t have anything like a family to support - so I just spend my earnings on my car.
I still have the standard alloys on mine too (about the only thing that is standard). I have seen some decent one made by wolfrace. I have been told that peugeots have limited alloys that will fit. You have to get at least 17" alloys to fill the massive gap. Another thing to remember is your car may look like its ridding too high after putting bigger wheels on - so you may want to drop the suspension (something else i haven't done....yet).
The cheapest and most effective mods on mine were the Exhaust and a replacement air filter.
The exhaust is a 4" devil non-amalgomous back box (they do 2 different types - the non-amalgomous one is the louder one i have). This cost about £200. You can get it from a place in manchester called automotif (search on the web for the place)
The airfilter was a K&N replacement element that costs about £35.
Putting these two on will increase your BHP by about 6!
I live in Stockport (South Manchester) and was driving home from work.
Gimmie a shout if you want more info on the other mods (where to get them etc).
Say hi to the mrs.

Cheers Steve, useful info. I have never even thought about mods before 'cos all my other cars have been too dull so you're advice is welcome.
I have noticed that from some angles cc's with alloy's look like they are too high, but I'm not sure about lowering 'cos of the ride quality
The two things I'd really like to do after the alloy's are the mesh grill and the lights. The rear lights on yours look so cool (that's what we were saying when we saw you on the m6!) Can you give me an idea on price of those?? Tell me to F.O. u nosey b'stard if you want!!
Where you at the meet on the 29th cos just been looking at the pics and saw one that looks like yours???
Have you still got the clio??
Cheers mate
Jonny

Hi,
The grill is one supplied by all good peugeot garages and is part of their SP kit. I think it costs about £170. It includes the bottom grill, and a small grill which goes wither side of the lion badge.
The lights are also available from pug, but i think they can be bought from a company called ABC designs. I think they were over £200. There is a newer version of them available with clear (rather than orange indicators).
The extended arches and triple front light clusters are also part of the SP kit. The clusters are around £500 and I cant remember the price of the arches.
I wasn't at the meet - but there are a few cars knocking around with the same kit as me.
I installed interior neon's in mine this weekend in the footwells - looks smart and only cost me £17.
The stereo is where most of the money went. The head unit is worth £1200 but i got it half price. The two amps add up to around £600, the front speakers were about £200 and the bass speakers were around £200 each. Got it professionally fitted out at a place in Wales....my ears hurt.
The clio got sold about 7months ago when i was gonna get a company car. I had an MG ZS 180 on order but they cancelled it because of the big spoiler. I took the cash option instead and bought the 206.
Feel free to ask all the questions u want mate...i am thinking of starting my own modding company so don't worry about it.
Cheers
