Dealer A replaced a ECU for the windows and roof after it was damaged in a small fire. Following the replacement, the Auto UP on the drivers window didn't work.

Dealer B who had the car to fix the leaks and other problems, looked into it and said that Peugeot electric windows no longer have the Auto up feature!!??!?

Posted a note on the forum and every reply said that it worked fine on their car!

Car returned to Dealer A on Tuesday and they said they just needed to order a new "switch".

Car returned to Dealer A today to have said switch fitted.

Anyone care to venture a guess as to what the outcome will be when I pick up the car tonight????

Excellent, lets slag monkeys off again, I enjoyed that topic last time.

The Peugeot monkeys were out in force last week, they gave my missus' 206 a courtesy wash, following a service. A pity they did't have the courtesy to shut the driver's window.

Anyone got a monkey gun? (bit like an elephant gun but smaller).

I actually have 4 different Pug dealers within 15-20 minutes drive of home and they all belong to different monkey species ... ooops I mean different dealership chains.

So if things don't get fixed today it will be a case of 2 down, 2 to go I guess - they are supposed to be padding the engine cover as well because tightening it to stop it rattling didn't work......as I found out on the previous 2 occassions that they said they had fixed it!

Just had a call from Dealer A.

Sorry we ordered the wrong switch and it wasn't a "one touch" switch so we have ordered another one?

Clearly there is more than one switch they could use/order so it looks like dealer B was still lying or at least couldn't be bothered to find out. Lets see if dealer A comes up with the goods next week...........

but too be honest if it wasn't for this excellent site, the monkeys would probably get away with it. So once again Cheers Lyndon for helping us make monkeys look stupid!!!
