Wish me luck folks. My car came back with new seals (and a million water marks) yesterday and so far so good. No squeaks, which were getting worse day by day despite regular silicone spraying, and so far no leaks. The seals actually look different than the last ones (I got one of the first batch of cars) and the dealer admitted that Peugeot had redesigned them.

Car also had the handbrake looked at (it was sticking) and the manifold replaced. Only the stiching in the seat to be sorted and I'll be happy...

Luck - you'll need it. My CC is new spec built in Nov 01 and the seals were not any better than the earlier ones.

If the new seals I am waiting on (going by the time, I think they are in the sea somewhere) don't work then a replacement car is the next step.

shame you live so far up north as I hear Coventry is very scenic this time of year

you might even bump into Lyndon while you are both out 'sight seeing'
