You can always try double-clutching as well...

I'm 28, with an HGV licence. Double clutching is a good idea whether you have synchros or not. It increases the life of your gearbox.

Juan,

yes. Noticed this today. it was a struggle to get it into first gear. Unfortunately my journey was short so I can't tell whether a good run in would have eased the problem. I actually noticed problems with the second gear first. Not sure if that is just me getting used to having to move it in a slightly different way than I did with my previous car though...will see at time goes by.

I do also have manual transmition and I experienced problems to get into first gear especially while the car is cold. I do also noticed that when I try to put the reverse gear the gearbox is squeaking as if the car has not completely stopped. I went to Lion Hellas three times, (the official dealer of Peugeot im Greece) and they had my gearbox repaired the third time. Today I am going to take my car back and I will let you know what has hapenned.
If anyone knows something more please let me know.
My CC is only six months old and has only 6000Km.
