After several months of not doing any work and trawling the internet for a bike rack to fit on the CC I now have one!

It is the same as the rack on Ralfs German pages(I can try and find the URL if anyone is interested). I tracked down the German company (Eckla) and although they do not import to the UK, after arranging transfer of funds directly to their bank account they sent me one.

It cost 116 Euros (including shipping) thats approx £71 and fits perfectly.

Don't know if anyone will find this of interest but if you want more information on who to contact to get one, post a reply or send me an e-mail.

Yes indeed. More details would be very welcome. Any chance of a picture?

Hi Vince

I don't have any pictures of my CC with the rack on yet as I only got it yesterday.

If you go to the following URL's you can see the pictures on Ralfs site:

http://www.ccool.de/bilder/bastelecke_h ... /eckla.jpg

and

http://www.ccool.de/bilder/bilder_ausfa ... g01_19.jpg

Ecklas web page is:

http://www.eckla.de and it has the option to view in english.

The rack is called the Porty (art 77770).

The best thing to do is e-mail them at info@eckla.de and a guy called Wolfgang will probably deal with your enquirey (His english is pretty good so don't worry if you can't speak German!).

As I said before the shipped cost is about £71 and my bank charged £10 for a euro transfer.

Hope this helps - if you need any more information just let me know!

Ta Neil

Great idea, but I not sure I like the look of those clips tucked under the boot lid!

Has anyone else tried the Eckla one? Classic Carriers do a bike rack as well... doesn't look very aerodynamic, but looks like it won't damage the car as it fits onto their boot rack:

Anyone tried it?

Has anyone tried the official peugeot bike rack. Does it actually fit a cc?
