Hi All,

how about a meeting at drayton manor theme park (tamworth, near lichfield), a full day out for all the owners that have far to travel not just meeting for a few hours then going our seperate ways.

about April time ok with everyone ?

We could also have another meeting later in the year, further south, thorpe park perhaps.

Open to suggestions, somewhere easy to find, not just a supermarket carpark in say ,middle of Birmingham, the seaside perhaps ???

Let me know

cheers

I am up for Drayton Manor (not been for 20 years - shut up Erm).

If people are interested in going in as well I am quite happy to try and negotiate a 'good rate' with the park.

sounds good to me. My daughter will appreciate it too!!!!!!!! We have been loads of times but I HATE rollercoasters so it would provide a good day out for all, me to look at the cars with husband and daughter to go on the rides ( shes 14 so doesnt require parental input any more!!!)

Hi Rob,

hopefully there are gonna be a few owners coming to drayton manor so hopefully you can get a good discount (Only £15 for all the rides and the zoo too) should be able to get a few quid knocked off if LOADS of us go

Where's Lichfield? If it's off the M40, no probs. But another meeting @ Thorpe Park sounds great to us southern softies!

Would love to come but (and this is the bit where you can't suit all the people all the time so it might be tuff on me) can't do April 13/14 (owing to 60th birthday party - NOT MINE

A like the idea of a meeting in the South later in the year. Thorpe Park would be ideal.

Plus that means I can get a lay in.

I think now we have many more CC owners it would be good to do a North and South meet - that way the people willing to travel to both can but it gives the others a suitable option!
I'll get off my soapbox now!

I am sure there will be some excuses like:
"I am washing my hair"
Considering we are all hairdressers now!

Me and Lyndon have decided either 13/14 April or 20/21st at Drayton Manor Park http://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/

There will be no food or entertainment arranged.

BUT if its looking like nice weather then maybe we all have a picnic, then we can eat and meet and look at each others cars

Wish I could join you - however given it's taken 16 months to get my CC here in Oz (a week away) I'd be reluctant to ship it back.

Have a great time. Looking forward to arranging a similar event here.

Cheers
