Hi all. I was told by the dealer that I only need to service the car every 20 000 km. Is this correct??? I read the messages on the forum and it seems that everyone is changing their oils well before 20 000km.
I love my soon to be mine 206 so I think it should get the best treatment.

Was speaking with the service manager at my dealer today. He recommends 6 months/10000km services. The prescribed service interval is actually 20000km, but it's preferable to do a minor service in between standard intervals. Minor service will cost around A$200. Mobil 1 0W/40 full synthetic is used.
Cheers

I got my 6 month/10000Km's service the other day. It was nothing more than a 30/45 minute check over.
Didn't cost me a cent.
I asked them about the squeaky brakes and one guys said it would be dust (which I didn't buy) so I asked another guy and he said they pads are a harder compound and that must be the reason. I must admit I wasn't impressed with either response and when I have it in for a full service I'll be pushing them harder for a reasonable response.
