Had mine done by my Peugeot Dealership. Did a fantastic job. They sprayed the original bumpers etc. £282 for bumbers and side rubbing strips.

jo,

that was for respraying mirrors, bonnet vents, bumper strips and side strips. the low cost is because it's a local bodyshop that i have used quite often so no VAT etc..

I went to a peugeot dealer and got new bumper and door inserts painted Agean Blue and fitted inclusive of vat for £230.00.

Apparently thay prefer to paint new inserts so they are smoother and free of stone chips. Basically I was minus my car for about an hour. Perfect as the body shop is in the heart of Canterbury's city centre - shopping!!

I've been in my Peugeot dealer today and been quoted £230 for the mouldings and front/rear bumpers to be sprayed. It took me 20 mins to explain what I wanted, at first I was quoted £520!!!!! The guy thought I wanted the whole front bumper doing..........erm why wud I want it overspraying when theres nought up with it???? lol!

I've been told that the black parts of the mirrors can't be done, is this true anyone??

Oh and I've got to be without my baby for 2 whole days, have got to think long and hard about this one!

Does it look okay when spraying original bumpers??

Cheers

The Wing mirrors *can* be done!!!
And as long as there is nought wrong with ur original ones it should be ok to just respray

But the 2 days thing really does suck

Think hardddddd.....

If I go ahead and have this done with just side mouldings,front/rear bumpers sprayed silver, will it look naff with the original black & silver wing mirrors?? Someone please help as over £200 is a lot of money on something that will look crap.

Peugeot are refusing to spray the black mouldings on my mirrors as they say it is different material and they would rather not chance it.

Please someone help!
