I, (think like most CC owners) have a pet mouse or a whole family living in my brakes. After several complaints to my dealer they agreed to look at them under warranty. They had the car an hour and said they took them off, 'throughly' cleaned them and replaced as weren't worn enough to warrant new ones. Not surprising on 6500 miles.

They told me, it would reduce couldn't promise to stop the squeak but would be a vast improvement till my service!!!. Left the garage and guess what they squeak. i was gonna go back - but thought whats the point!!!!!!

NEW REMEDY TURN THE STEREO UP!!.

My squeaky brakes are v. temperamental...i can go for days without hearing a peep and then all of a sudden they'll go mental for a while and then disappear again. Weather conditions don't seem to matter either...:???:

The brake squeaks were very bad for a while. My local Dealer (Rochester Motor Co) seem to have cured it for now. Fingers crossed.

mine squeaked so badly but were fixed after the dealer replaced the discs and pads. This is after a failed disc clean which cost me 70 squid!!

exactly what happened to me. Mine were squeaking before I got the car back from the dealership to my flat. Less than 3 miles!

The only thing that worked was new brakes. Good luck though! I had to kick and scream for them!

I thought my car was the only one to have squeaky breaks. When stopping at traffic lights I looked at the car next to me 'cus I thought it was their breaks. However I soon became aware that it was my 2 month old car - looking excellent on the outside - but an old banger on the inside!!!
