The doors of my car spend more time being brown than blue so I'm going to get some wide mud-flaps fitted.

I'm sure it's a fairly trivial job. If I get my reliable but independent local garage to do it, is it likely to invalidate the warranty or do I need to have it done by an approved Peugeot outfit?

If they fit without any drilling then OK.
If not then get a peugeot pair fitted by the Peugeot dealer then your paintwork warranty is OK.

There is an Aussie owner from the North Coast of NSW. Pictures are in the owners area. I don't know what his mem no. is.

I downloaded it but now my hard disk is empty, thanks to a nasty virus.

I was only thinking an hour or so ago about mud-flaps after i spent a couple of hours yesterday cleaning my car, only for it to be honking down today and my doors are covered with "splashback"....My only hesitation is how they look aesthetically...not really a fan. I think it harks back to my mountain-biking days when i'd rather get a nasty brown streak up the back of my jacket than fit a mud-guard. Gotta be careful how you look after all

I've had mine on since February and I'd say they are about 90% effective. They're certainly a massive improvement on the previous situation.

The front flaps really aren't very big and you'd hardly notice them. The back ones are bigger and the dealer did stick a couple of '206' badges on them, so they do stand out more but I don't think they effect the look of the car. I'll get some pictures togther this evening (if it stops raining).

I would be interested to know if you can get Pug flaps. My dealer told me they had been withdrawn because they didn't fit. They are supposed to be reintroduced later in the year.
