Got a phone message from Simon and he said the fund's in the account and I can deposit the cheque, I hope it's a promise. So I will deposit this cheque and for his sake I hope it doesn't bounce, so this thing isn't over until the cheque is cleared, oh I'm looking forward to the day I post "this thing's over" here, oh I'm so anxious!!!

Well if it does bounce, it's a criminal offence. It is fraud to issue a cheque which you have no intention of honouring.

Yeah thats right it is a criminal offence. The trouble is that certain people often plead innocence claiming they thought they had enough funds to meet the cheque and intended to honour it, even though it bounced.

Lets hope Gtb5's goes through smoothly.

I think, on the balance of evidence, they'd get a conviction in this case.

Oh yeah. If it bounced, he'd be charged by the bank. If he cancelled it, it's fraud and he'd be fined/jailed as well as the cancellation fee from the bank.

just had a quick look at what i have missed.

jimmy has maybe went a bit overboard but wouldn't you if someone was ripping you off for over £200 ???

he has also failed to pay PGAC £200 - say no more.

good luck jimmy - hope it works out.

and as far as me sending the hoops goes - i send them recorded delivery so i have proof of sending and details of when they arrive - and that's for something that isn't even a business as they are passed on at cost price.

Okay people I think this is it, my bank has credited my account but on the statement it reads "CHEQUE(S) CREDITED ARE SUBJECT TO FINAL SETTLEMENT. ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE DEBITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT", so I asked them and they replied it should be settled, I think this line is just formality. So this episode is finally over, but the mesh grill that he promised is never received, oh well I'm just glad I got the money back and thank you so much for all for your time and support.
