Well I have finally found my turbo diesel to
buy and my fully loaded black 206 with b/red
leather is for sale in autotrader for 14.5k.

Unfortunatley not a single phone call in a
week. The prices are all over the shop some
dealers wanting more than new , private
ranging all over the place. My car is one
of the cheapest listed for a private seller.
You should see the prices parkers list for the 206 now (laugh).
Well the dealer with my new car has offered
me 13.5k so if I dont get a better offer
before end of the week I'm going to take it.
Thought this car would be easy to sell for
a good price. I reckon its all the imports
coing in that are playing havoc with prices.

Any comments? Anybody want to give me 14.5k for my car?

I'm concerned for the imports messing with current values.

How many miles has your car done?

I'm thinking about trading mine in for a new Focus ST170 or a Honda Civic R Type but i'm dreading what i'l get offered

I think it's the time of year - Bloke at work is trying to sell his VW G60 - not a single phone call, even though it's all toyed up and cheapest etc

James, do you have to sell now? Sale-ability might pick up when (if?) the sun comes out?

I think it is time of year, convertibles sell much better in Spring / Summer. Speaking to a couple of non Peugeot dealers over the weekend, they're also a bit cautious about touching the cc as a result of the publicity about leaks.

We sold our 206cc in April to a dealer, after no replys from an advert in auto trader, for 13k. It didn't have the leather extra, but personalised plate - cc 206 pug

Sounds like the market is driving costs and not the motoring press. After the report shown in

http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/pictures/ ... eport.html

I was hoping for a good price for mine when I get rid (hopefully within the next couple of months). The list for the one shown which is an X-reg was good I thought, after reading this thread it looks like I may have to hang on to mine a little longer.

An indication of mileage would be good in further posts, I've done over 25K - so it looks like I may get less ? P-ex may be the only answer for me, and I am not a fan of this.

OI ! I got a serious ribbing for that at work after a colleague found this site. If you want a copy of the doctored foto which they distributed - let me know, I will of course require assurance that you will not forward it on ! The honest truth is that I've become attracted to another car the novelty of the CC has worn off a little although I still enjoy driving it and do enjoy owners cameradary (? is that how you spell it ?) You know how it is, you get something you really want, change it a bit, then want something else. Oh - and there's bloody loads round my way.
You want to make me an offer then ?

C'mon....share the wealth...lets ALL see Stuart!
Funnily enough, we're considering getting rid of our CC and thought we could get a tidy sum...obviously not. Looks like we'll keep hold of it a while....besides the BMW 1 Series Roadster isn't out til 2004! ;)

I'm teetering on the edge of going for a couple of years old TT Roadster, just exquisite styling and amazing performance. Or GregS - have you any contacts in Germany

I do love the look of the TT, wouldn't dare drive one, cars always suck me in when I drive them, I'm digging out my cheque book before I know what's happening!
