Airbag fault

2002 1.6cc
Just been somewhere today had to park on a grass field overflow carpark. Drove home fine no problems ,just turned in to my terrace drive had steering full more or less now airbag faults popped up .no problems on was home or before

Check the underseat connections but you will really need to put tge car on a PSA diagnostic to find out what is wrong.

Sometimes an indication that the car's battery is reaching the end of its life.

hi we have had the same problem went for a lovely drive in the sunshine yesterday next minute we had airbag warning light "Airbag Fault " we have just bought the car passed the mot with flying colours and now this issue has occured , we will change the battery as we are unsure how long its been there but is this a common problem ?? T.I.A

Don't just change the battery. It is only one possibility. Get it tested first. Any decent battery shop will put a discharge tester on it without a fee. It just takes a few seconds.

Could be a seat connector ... common if seat haa recently been moved ... or Com2000 unit on column. What year is the CC??

Probably aged bags brought on by all the severe heat we've just had, they're only good for 10 years apparantly.

Hi there it's a 55 plate I checked the wires all seems ok nothing loose
