Seat Belt Light Staying On

Post by ridleyjc »

Hey guys and gals, hoping to take my test next week in my lovely new (second hand) 2001 Peugeot 206 cc, but I've got one small problem... the seat belt light is constantly on despite them being clipped in - does anyone know how to fix this?

ANY suggestions would be enormously useful, as all my local garages are fully booked until after my test date.

Thanks for reading.

NOW FIXED (fingers crossed)

If anyone has the same problem, I disconnected, cleaned and reconnected the wires under the seats as well as spraying the buckle holders with compressed air.

You fixed it before anyone could answer

This is a common problem.
