So Cheap???

Post by Banditboy »

Why are these 206cc's so cheap, especially the petrol??
Even with full leather interior and an hdi efficient engine there almost worthless.

The usual reason - supply exceeds demand, and the demand is low because, amongst other things, it is not a practical car (small boot, rear seats only just big enough for dogs, etc...). But for a second, fun car, it's a bargain

Agreed Ian, mine is my weekend fun car, cheap to run, love getting out there doing bits of work on it and of course getting the roof down when the sun is out !!

Correct, bit strong.... Should've said cheap.. But has mentioned, a fun second car runabout for days out with the top down..... win, win, win situation.... Especially if it's a cheeky little diesel. getting 50+mpg around town back and forth to work at the mo.

Good to hear someone is enjoying his diesel. You see so many trouble posts on the Peugeot Forums about diesels, and I notice the same on Toyota. Quite puts you off.

Also getting a bit older now and lots of people just don't want the hassle of maintaining and fixing them. :(
