Hi, my third LED Brakelight is ready. I sawed out the complete bulb holes including the silver reflectors behind (inside the red blind) with a smal saw blade, innerside of its red blend frame. I cutted out the plastic screw holder and placed them into the bulb holder part . Only the frame with its red blend remaining. I removed the electric copper lines in the bulb holder and placed the 30cm LED stripe on its place. After bringing the bulb holder and the blend together by duck-tape, voila - a perfekt fitting LED . The electric wire now leaves the lamp on the side. No problem to insert in the boot cover and connecting to the brake light connector. 18 Led´s shining fine. For a long long time :-)

The cost´s = under 10 Euro. The same Lamp in the shops 70 Euro

Perhaps it helps you to bring your old third brake light on LED basis.

Cheers, Franky
