HELP with warning symbol please...

I have a 2002 206cc. I've started getting an image on the centre display of a car with the rear section highlighted along with a beeping noise and flashing red STOP on the dashboard. Can anyone help with this?

Boot open. It's in the handbook which you can download from our site.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked the boot a few times. Opened it, closed it, made sure it's secure but the fault remains. Occasionally it goes off for a few miles... then returns again.
