Hey, I am just writing to say hello, Great forum, i've been reading loads..
I've Just got a '54' 2.0ltr Allure a Month ago, & love it, needs a tidy up, but a fun lively drive (been lucky with the weather)
one thing though.. was told it will need a new battery soon & after looking here some say type '079' & others '027' is there much difference between them?
I'm sure many things will crop up over next few weeks...

35 mm in length. 2.0 litre uses the longer type 027 which measures 242 mm (I think). Best get a tape measure and check what's already in the car before replacement. Glad you are enjoying your new chariot.

CC battery is taller too. 190mm iirc.
