problem with strange squeaking

Hello Guys

Hoping someone could help, i have a peugeot 206cc 2002 and i get this strange squeaking when driving its really hard to figure out where it is coming from (which does not help at all sorry) i thought it might be the rear shocks so i changed them and still there its fine when coasting and going over bumps its fine, i notice it when i accelerate or let go of accelerator its really loud and its not just one squeak its like several when it happens. hope someone could help thanks :) :sorry:

I'd check the front mount on the downpipe hasn't cracked. That's what mine was.

I've been having a similar issue for a while and it seemed random, a mate found my mounts on the exhaust were worn. Once he got under and gave it a good rattle about, it turned out to be the exact sound. So if it sounds like its behind you as you drive, I'm willing to bet its the same thing.
