Roof wont come down

Hi guys i would appreciate any advice
The Problem
I switch the ignition to the M position (as per hand book)
unlatch the front latches and i get the BONG sound (roof ready to come down)
Then when operating the switch i just get the constant BING sound and nothing more happens windows dont come down or anything

ive check the roller blind in the boot and all seems fine micro switch made

Other than that im not sure what else to check

You are better off with engine running.

Do the windows go down on the window switch?

Have a look in the 'Roof' section on the forum for trouble-shooting ideas.

Dodgy blind switch if the windows wont drop when you pull the switch, either that or its disabled

Just been out to check the switch and found it had been shorted out and still dosent work any other ideas ?

Not the switch, the roof will be disabled because it has been tampered with, finding the blind switch hotwired is a good sign of that especially.

You will need it diagnosing with peugeot planet

is it a diagnostic tool if so where do you get it from

Yes its for all peugeot and citroen vehicles that have obd or obd2 capability (plug in) well actually its software the diagnostic tool is called lexia 3.

Most cheap code readers will access the engine basics but pp2k is the only thing that can access the roof ecu and its codes.

You need to find someone that has it or get your own.
