Hi all I have an issue with my bloody car...the fan is not spinning and when I am sat in traffic the temp gauge goes up rapidly even sometimes till the stop sign comes on!! I am guessing it's a sensor somewhere as sometimes the fan is spinning and then it's not...anyone had similar issues and or resolutions ?

Check it's not loose or dirty connections on the fan motor cables or the radiator temp sensor ..
