HI,
I have just inherited a project from a friend which appears to have all the usual 206cc problems..
I have been told that the car was perfect until it was jump started from a 24V lorry which rendered the roof inoperative and caused a few other issues.. hopefully a blown fuse/relay??
Here is my growing list..
Roof does not work, No bings/bongs nothing..
Windows are not closed fully (about 2cms stuck open) they have no power either..
ABS light on dash
No indicators, Hazards are fine..
Before I start pulling fuses ect does anybody have a easy fix??
The car is a 206cc 2001 Y reg

If someone has stuck 24V through it, then i'd be surprised if it was an easy fix. I would send BSI & roof ecu off to someone like BBA reman for testing.
Cheers Col.

24v will have done unknown damage to most of the electrics ... Before any fuses blew.
If the new fuse blows immediately then the windows motors may be fried along with bsi.

Put 24 volts into a 12 volts car and the damage will be severe. The fact that fuses are blowing just means the components on the other end of the fuses are fried and drawing too much current (most likely a dead short)
Does the car start and run? You really need to get a diagnostic done to see which ECU's are dead and then go from there.
