You must have a sticking microswitch .. check the ones in the top of the screen where it hooks up.

Re: Alarm over 5 mph
Hi,
This has/does happen with me.
the culprit in my case is/was the boot latch ((one on left and one on right) Mine is the left one) located near the U clip. I have to help it click in with my finger.
I guess you have same problem? If you can open/close your windows with the roof down its not the same as mine and maybe the previous post is indeed your problem.
Cheers,
Iain.

Re: Alarm over 5 mph UPDATE !!!!
thanks for replies but so far no joy.!! I bought the car knowing that the roof did not work and hoped it would be an easy fix. I was prepared to operate the roof manually on the odd day of sunshine weave in this country. However the buzzer sounds as soon as i drive off whether the roof is up or down. Micro switches in roof pillars were suggested. How do you test them??? How do you get at them??? I thought I would be clever and disconnected yellow multi connector on ECU in boot. Success -- buzzer stopped but electric windows did not work!!! Back to square one. Next plan was fuses. Finally located buzzer fuse under dashboard. Removal of fuse stopped buzzer but again windows did not work. Also disconnected radio fuse so have now ,lost radio code!!!!! Surely there must be an easy fix. All I want to do is drive with roof down without incessant buzzer. All help gratefully received.

I believe pillar micro switches are located where the two roof hooks latch. Open the latches and the micro switches directly above the end of the metal hooks.

Hi,
I am failing to see how the above head roof switch(s) are the root cause.
Cheers,
Iain.

Re: Alarm over 5 mph
When you open the roof catches does the com2000 make a DONG sound? if so they are working fine.
when you get the beeping is there any kind of message on the screen at all?
only way to reproduce this in a car with no faults is to operate the roof switch while the car is moving, or pulling the handbrake on slightly so the light comes on but that will give a handbrake on warning.
Does your speedo work ok?

Re: Alarm over 5 mph
I have the same problem with the buzzing if I go over 5 miles an hour, it happens if I have ether opened or closed the roof, mine is one of the miro switches in the boot lid dosent catch when lid closes (right side) so every time the top of the boot lid closes i have to press on the handle on the right side of the boot till I hear the micro switch catch, then the buzzing stops.
Mine happens because I need to get the top of the boot lid realined.
Hope this helps?
