Windscreen advice please

Post by Manda »

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been on here recently but I need some advice from you experts.

I need a new windscreen thanks to the local roads throwing up stray stones. I have been advised to go through Autoglass by my insurer. Is there anything I should be aware of in terms of what can go wrong and what to watch for?

Is there any benefit to insisting on a genuine Peugeot screen?

Any advice appreciated.

If you have auto wipers and lights make sure they test it before and after with you there

Peugeot won't make the screen themselves so no real advantage. All glass has to conform to safety standards, so will all be much of a muchness.
Cheers Col.
