Need a new window switch - Part number required
Hi everyone. My window switch is dodgy. I can put down the passenger side fine but getting the window back up is another issue- it pretty much wont go up unless I pull the switch up for a good half hour. It's obviously the summer so I want to make use of the roof, but I dare not put the window down incase it wont go back up again. A garage told me it's most likely the switch and to get one on ebay as Peugeot themselves quoted around £100 for a new switch with them, without installation (although I've been told you can just plug it in yourself apparently). Does anyone know the part number by any chance? Peugeot wouldn't tell me it and I've searched for weeks online for a part number but can't find one anywhere. I dare not pull the switch out myself as I basically haven't a clue when it comes to cars and don't want to risk breaking it completely. On ebay there's several switches that say its compatible with a 206cc but there's several different part numbers appearing on different listings so I don't know which one I need. I have a 2003 1.6 Allure model. The part number cropping up most is a a 7 pin 11857 part. I can't find anywhere at all that sell new switches so a second hand one will have to do. Any help or recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Can you take yours apart and clean up the contacts?
When I did mine I used an eraser to clean the contacts.
