New Peugeot 206 cc owner

Post by Avril »

Hi all,

I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and recently purchased a beautiful blue Peugeot 206 cc (2001).
I first saw one for sale by chance, drove past it, and it caught my so much so, that I decided the next day I wanted to purchase it, unfortunately it had been snapped up in a flash.

I spent the next 2 months scouring South Africa for a similar one (had to be the same blue).

Then I finally found it in a very out of the way village, 2000km from where I lived. A few planes, busses and automobiles later, I was driving my new old Peugeot 206 cc all the way home.

She performed beautifully and the petrol consumption was far lower than I had anticipated with the engine size. I was going to fix up a few of the smaller issues and sell her again for a small profit, seeing as they are in such demand where I live, however I have fallen in love with my little car and plan to start a restoration project in September 2015.

So I guess I'll be visiting this sight more often to ask for advice and opinions on where I can get parts at a reasonable price, as the Peugeot Workshop in Cape Town is extremely expensive, so that will be my very last resort.

P.S. looking for replacement factory fitted Clarion radio / CD player in working condition ;)

Kind regards

Avril White

Ebay (Europe sites)
Or search for a Peugeot dealer willing to ship overseas. It involves a bit of legwork on your part I'm afraid.
