Re: Pos Battery lead
Have you looked on 206info and peugeotforums? Difficult for us to answer if we've not experienced it ... otherwise you might be looking at making one from new parts .. autosparks.co.uk?

Re: Pos Battery lead
As you can see from the start of my quest I've been trying to find out since buying the car I was hoping the forum members on here d look under the bonnets and see if they had two thick wires running into the engine fuse box or one thick wire and two smaller being white and blue but since starting this post can't seem to get an answer so I'll give up and start annoying 206cc owners I catch in local shopping car parks.

Re: Pos Battery lead
Well this is what service box shows ..
two parts numbers ...
Can't help much more today .. I'll try and get to my HDi in the week and look at that to see if it's similar.
By cutting off the clip loaded clamp, the previous owner has shortened it .. I'd still look at making a custom one if you can't get one from a scrapper or dealer. Message anyone breaking a CC on fleabay

Thanks for that. The diagram you sent is the only one I can find also all the leads I have purchased have the two thick wires going into the fuse box as shown but on the actual car there is only one so I'd like a few confer actions on this before I blow the car up! I'm a bit reluctant to take the old one out till I know as its such a pig of a job

Re: Pos Battery lead
I ca confirm that the one on our 2005 1.6 Allure has only one thick wire going to the fuse box by the battery. Not two.Telecaster wrote:Still not getting an answer to this! Yes I have the correct taller Battery that stretches the lead even tighter! So I'll ask again this lead with the mod clamp on has only one thick wire going to the engine fuse box and a lead that plugs in with a blue and a white wire to it all the replacement leads I have bought have two thick wires going to the engine fuse box not the same so How many types of Positive leads are out there are they year specific and if so what years apart from 2004 do I need to look at?![]()
