timing belt change

Help needed. Timing belt has been changed when supposed to be done .unable to find out when the second or third time .as not in booklet.
The car has 109,000 on clock on 04 plate.

Every 80K or 10 years

I changed ours after 55,000 and just under ten years as we had no record. It looked ok but it's often not the actual belt that fails but the tensioner and idler gears.

I had one go on my Alfa ... Recommended change at 72k or 6 years. Ours had done 73k but it was a replacement belt (had service records and had car from new). Idler failed and belt jammed. Not a pretty sight when head was off and big bill!! Soon after Alfa reduced change interval to 36k or 3 years!!!! Read into that what you like.

Personally I don't think I'd leave it as long as Peugeot suggest. And change water pump at same time too.

If in doubt just change it, would be my advice, what many Garages wont tell you is the belt on them is really easy to change.
